Zibi was the place to be this summer with more than 15,500 residents and visitors joining us for a slew of fun and free events. Whether you came out to Dance at Zibi with the National Arts Centre, browse local vendor stalls at our Urban Arts Collective Night Markets, watch Pop-up Cinema movies under the stars, or enjoy live music presented by Ottawa Jazzfest, your visit made every single event unforgettable.  

Zibi’s goal has always been to build a vibrant, inclusive waterfront community, and seeing thousands of neighbours, families, and visitors gather together week after week was the highlight of our season. Thank you to everyone who made this summer so special! 

As the leaves change, the fun isn’t stopping; it’s getting even cooler. We’re keeping the momentum going with a fun lineup of events throughout the Fall. Mark your calendars for these upcoming highlights: 

Repair Café (September 26) 
Join the Ottawa Tool Library’s skilled volunteers and breathe new life into your broken items. Whether it’s a lamp that won’t light or a zipper that’s stuck, they’ll show you how to repair it, and you’ll pick up a few skills while you’re at it. It’s free, it’s fun, and it keeps stuff out of the landfill. 

Twilight Symphony (October 1) 
Kick off the new month with Canada’s top chamber orchestra as it performs the music of Bach, Vivaldi, Handel and Pachelbel, showcasing the enduring popularity of Baroque music through some of the most recognizable tunes, performed on period instruments. Reserve your spot here.  

Pop-up Farm Stand (Tuesdays until October 6) 
Enjoy a vibrant selection of fresh, locally grown produce right here at Zibi. From seasonal fruits and vegetables to locally made goods, each offering is thoughtfully sourced from nearby farms and producers. 

Roots & Ritual: An Oddities Market (October 24) 
Just in time for the spooky season, this market will focus on the strange, mystical and magical. Bones, taxidermy, crystals, anything out of the ordinary. It’s the ultimate destination to discover one-of-a-kind treasures, and artisans.  

Cool Cat Cabaret: Marking 50 years of Interval House of Ottawa (October 29) 
Wrap up October with a night of theatrical magic, sensational performances, and smooth tunes. The Cool Cat Cabaret promises a spirited evening filled with 1920s charm, style, and top-tier entertainment, all in support of Interval House. Click here to buy your tickets.  

Urban Arts Collective: Nostalgic November Market (November 14)
The Nostalgic November Night Market is back. Step into the past and browse a curated selection of vintage, thrift, retro & pop culture treasures. 

Not Your Typical Holiday Market (December 5-6) 
Discover one-of-a-kind gifts and handmade treasures, where local artists and makers bring creativity to the season.
