Organizers hoping to make this an annual tradition

Interzip Rogers, Ottawa Tourism, Tourisme Outaouais Orkestra and Zibi family and friends were delighted to gather outdoors at Zibi’s Wàsa Zibi Plaza last evening to watch Santa Claus and his reindeers cross the Ottawa River on the world’s first interprovincial zipline.

“The reindeers and I couldn’t believe how safe and enjoyable it was to cross the Ottawa River on the Interzip Rogers!” said Santa Claus.

“We certainly hope to be able to do this again next year, and have it become a new holiday tradition in the National Capital Region!” said Alex Van Dieren, Orkestra’s co-president, the agency behind Interzip Rogers.

Interzip Rogers is currently closed for the season and set to reopen in May 2022. Visit interzip.ca for information on when it will reopen and to purchase gift certificates.
